Geoffrey Austin
Global Co-head of Media, Deutsche Bank
Geoffrey Austin is responsible for Deutsche Bank's corporate finance relationships with clients in the media sector on a global basis, and for providing advice across the product spectrum.
Prior to this appointment, he was responsible for media investment banking in Europe, and for some of Deutsche Bank's key corporate relationships in the European media sector. His earlier career was focused on mergers and acquisitions, also largely in the Media sector.
Transactions on which Deutsche Bank has advised recently include Apax/GMG's acquisition of Emap, the acquisition of TNS by WPP, and News Corp's recapitalisation of Premiere.
Mr Austin holds an MA from Oxford University and has 20 years of corporate finance experience.
